LCD CoP Call ft Helen Davison, CLO, New Zealand Public Sector
There’s no question that Helen Davison is a serious practitioner of the LCD model.
At her work for the Inland Revenue Service, she led the launch of three major Learning Cluster initiatives, each with a 2-3 year project plan, working with 3 different external consulting companies to implement the LCD model, design the learning assets, and track the performance of the initiatives. Crystal served as a coach to the team on an as-needed basis, while the consulting firms did the heavy lifting of Change & Learn Action interviews.
The initiatives have org-wide impact:
👉 Onboarding reimagination
👉 Leadership Development
👉 Organizational Values
In her new role with the Te Kawa Mataaho Public Service Commission, she continues to bring the LCD model to life.
We are thrilled to have her share her experience and knowledge with the modern learning community!
Helen has spent her career working in learning and development. Learning is her passion and in her current role as Programme Director, Capability at Te Kawa Mataaho, Public Service Commission she is keen to influence learning and development practices across the New Zealand public sector.
Helen describes her experiences as covering pretty much everything in the L&D space. She has lead teams, set up new L&D functions within organisations, been an Executive coach, a facilitator and an instructional designer and led in strategic learning roles.
