Speakers: Michael Grant, Jennifer Hackim, and Lizza Igoe from the Association of International CPAs
Date
: Aug 4th, Noon-1 pm EST
Cost: FreeThis month, on August 4th from 12-1 pm, we are excited to have the team from AICPA (the preeminent international professional association for certified public accountants). They completed a private practicum for their full learning design & consultant internal teams in order to offer their membership beyond one-and-done options for upskilling on CPA-related competencies. They will be sharing their work and inviting questions.

This is crucial because many who apply the LCD model understand how to apply it for internal audiences, but struggle when the audience is external. AICPA is a fantastic example of applying LCD in complex ways.

Whether you work on external customer learning initiatives or are a member of an association, bring your questions and thoughts on how to surround learners in a modern way!

Michael McKenzie Grant serves as the Senior Director of Learning Innovation & Assessment at the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants. He has worked in Learning & Development for 20 years, leading global teams, teaching as a college instructor and department chair, and presenting best practices at many industry conferences. Michael thrives in fast-paced results-driven environments that foster collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

Jennifer Hackim serves as the Director of Learning Design at the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants. She came to the Association nine years ago from Deloitte, where she was an Audit & Assurance Senior Manager. Jennifer leads the execution of the Association’s learning strategy, ensuring learning and assessment solutions are designed to meet the quality, cost, technical accuracy, and time to market expectations. Leveraging her vast product knowledge and strong relationships with external experts, Jennifer has immersed herself in learning development best practices and the new LCD methodology.

As we recently heard from Andy Storch, investing in ourselves is something we don’t often do, but doesn’t take much to have a big impact. We hear from our participants all the time “Just do it. What do you really have to lose?”

Take a look at these upcoming options to upskill you and your colleagues in the Learning Cluster Design model, some free and some deeper learning, guided by our excellent facilitator team and even the co-creator of the model, Crystal.

Hope to see you and happy to answer any questions you might have!
